VC3DSO LP ALLWPX was a total disaster this year. It took the first 30 minutes of contest time for me to work out that the logging problem was a faulty keyboard. Even a 2x1 call wasn't enough to get me noticed. 100 watts and a G5RV surely limits you. Next year a quad and more efficient antennas on 160, 80 and 40 will help. Still a BLAST!
VC7TMSHIt was a slow one this year
VE100VIMYChecklogDecided that the call sign was costing stations more time than they were gaining for the unique multiplier! NOT DX! VE100VIMY Commemorative Station Society HQ in BC See www.ve100vimy.ca

VE9CBSO HP ALLWith 10 completely dead and 15 nearly so, the crowding on 20 and 40 metres was incredible. Thorugh all that crowding on 20, I was thrilled to be called by two BYs, one HS and two long-path VK2s. On 40m, my wire 4-square really performed well. This was the best of low-sunspot conditions, with no disturbances at all
VK2COWSO LP 160MSadly, i only got about 10 minutes of operating time during the contest!
VK2LEESO LP ALLVVV Difficult conditions. I believe most Yagi's in USA were pointed to Japan/Europe/Asia which means VK is on the side of the beam approx. although My tribander is only at 20 feet with no rotator at present. Need to get it back up the tower. VK2LEE

VY0ERCSA LP 20MEarlier in the week I was getting reports of 59 +10 and 20 db into Europe. Then mid-week the Sun starts acting up. It started to get better, but Friday was still a bust and Saturday was going okay until the surface eather started going bad. So, I had to abandon the radio for safety's sake. I was able to make it back up early afternoon on Sunday, but by then had missed several hours of prime time into Europe. I still scored more qsos in that those last 7 hours than in the previous 41. I had hoped to do something on 40m and 15m, but 40m was tough and never a peep on 15m. And of course, the surface weather has gone bad again and now I am spending the night in the lab. Oh well, contesting in the High Arctic, eh!
