| T70A | SO LP 80M | I have not a good experience about 80mts. I made some strategic errors due to few hours of sleep. But it was a wonderful contest, the setup was perfect: a full size 1/4 vertical for TX, 3 directional beverages (one for N-E dir., one for W-E dir., one for S dir.) for RX, my FT- 950. I have heard beautiful signals, in particular from USA during the morning daylights. I have made just few QSOs during the morning and first afternoon with Italian and German, I hoped better. Despite the excellent path to Asia,I was not able to log any JA. It was a pity. |
| T77GO | SO HP 20M | It was my first contest organized by myself. In the past I joined in few multi operations but just to made some hours at the runner. This time, all the contest was in my hands, from the first minutes to the last. As a novice, I made some mistake, expecially in the management of the sleeping times. So I lost a couple of hours of good opening to North America. A great lost in terms of QSOs and an impressive lost in therms of points. Anyway I worked just with a log periodical, not really high on the ground and I'm satisfied and for the results. Maybe, next time will be better. Special TNX to ARRSM that allow me to use the T77GO (call for guest operators). |
