FR8TZSO HP 10MHello everyone, A few comments come to mind: - The problem with being on Reunion Island is the distance, because each QSO is about 10,000 kms, - Another point is that people don't turn every time their antenna this way, because there aren't too many of us, but we can be multiple too. - Another point is that in SSB too many people don't play the game of signalling you on the cluster, and you can go 10 or 15 minutes without a qso, and suddenly a nice guy puts you on the cluster, and only then does the run start. - A lot of people don't do S&P, just click on the cluster without listening and making sure the callsign is correct and knowing what number the station is at. But I'd like to say that the 10M was very good this weekend, some amazing stations were contacted, and it was a pleasure for Reunion Island to give you points and receive them too. Thank you all for your participation in this score, which will carry the colors of the island

G5IGDSO LP ALLHard going with the K index being high. Then followed antenna issues preventing further participation
G7DPESO LP ALLSaturday 10m was flat, then my Hustler 6BTV decided to give high SWR on 40 and 80M. After persevering it sorted itself out. Some nice, rare for me, station's around the Caribbean were worked. Really enjoyable, having not participated for some years. Thanks to the organiser's and all that participated! 73
G7PVZSO QRP ALLPlaying with a KX2, a borrowed headset and a length of wire. Not a serious effort, but more of a fun, learning exercise. All powered from a battery

GM2TM2Our first effort at this contest as a multi-two entry, we made the trip to the island of Benbecula EU010. With unpredicatable WX and limited daylight hours, the antenna farm was limited to low dipoles or groundplane verticals, plus a very low Inv-L for 160. Saturday cndx were poor and we appeared to be too far north to enjoy any sustanied runs. Sunday cndx improved and we finally started to make up for lost time. Plenty to learn from in order to improve on this for next year. We had a team of 8, with mixed contesting experience but the main thing is we all came away having enjoyed the experience and planning a return visit
GM3TALSO LP 10Mgood condx on sunday evening
GM4VYQSO LP ALLSome good DX worked. Some very badly distorted signals on the band. A very enjoyable contest yet again. 73
