VE3EVZSO HP 15Mice storm took out power for 6 days
VE3LRLSO HP ALLIce storm overnight caused some havoc and severely limited operating during peak times and lasted well into Sunday morning. Lower bands were really noisy which didn't help but high bands where really busy. Decent contest activity though
VE3NRSO LP ALLFor the first time I used only 10W in a SSB contest and surprised myself. -) Didn't bust any major pileups, but had a great time working lots of DX
VE3RVZSO LP ALLOntarians, and likely others as well, were severely hamstrung by the ice storm that blew through on Saturday morning causing power outages because of extreme damage to trees, homes and power lines. Many still have not had power restored, and some will wait more than a week for repairs to be made. Please take into consideration those contesters who have not yet had an opportunity to submit their logs, so they do not lose out on standing. I'm one of the luckier ones, our power was out only 36 hours and, apart from one hour-long loss after restoration, it has been perfectly normal since. Thanks, 73

VE7MHISO LP ALLHad a great time in spite of social interference interrupting my sleep early Sunday morning. I operated through extreme tiredness and headache most of Sunday. Glad I got on Friday evening local, glad I got on 40m for a bit too. Overall the test was grand. Agn heard and worked countries and new prefixes. A few were complete firsts for me. While I didn't make the same numbers as last year I'm happy given the 'local conditions' struggled with. Certainly will enter again. Tnx to all my contacts. 73

VE9EXSO HP ALLI enjoyed the propagation and worked all continents except Antarctica on my 20 m and 40 m verticals. I hope to set up a better 10 m antenna with a linear on 10 m, Pitcairn Island was clear, without QSB, but I could not make the QSO. When I was running on 20 m, I had a good laugh out loud on the air when a US op with the suffix RCN used the phonetics Royal Canadian Navy. Thank you everyone. It was a pleasure. 73, Brent, VE9EX
