| KS7T | SO LP ALL | Quite a challenge from MT. to bust through the east coast wall with a 100w. and a beam that's fixed on VK/ZL due to a busted rotor trying to work the rest of the world on top of solar storms but I did not without a struggle and cndx with rapid qsb on most stns both ways. Got lucky with the AF super stns except for CN3A on 40. He was S7-9 never heard my gnd mounted vert. this time but did in other contests. The ops at CQ9A I hope will be part of the 3Y1 exped. They were over 9K last I heard them. Great job guys, wow! |

Installed the Aziloop listening antenna and it earned its keep on 40 and 80. Spider bean at 43' for 10 - 40, Hytower for 80 & 160. After always using a dipole and low power--no longer possible after moving--it was a great opportunity to try a different station. I worked two new DXCC entities, my first in 12 years! |
