| 3B8/DL6UAA | SO LP ALL | No chance to work on 40m in EU QRM with low power. 20m was easier, but same "problem". |
| 3DA5A | SO HP ALL | Unbelievable opening on 10m. But in contrast, 20m and 40m was tougher than the previous year. |
| 8P9IJ | SO HP ALL | Most memorable moment: Discussing with K1AR where he writes his articles for the Contest Calendar. Thanks John for the laugh early Sunday morning. |
| AA8UP | SO QRP 15M | I decided to throw a new twist on WPX test this year by declaring that I would operate both modes QRP. I had never operated on QRP SSB before, but of course I wanted to have a challenge. It was fun |
| AH2R | MS | FB condx to EU, but poor condx to US. |
| AI2C/4 | SO HP ALL | Had a great time! WPX is always a wonderful contest. Super conditions to Europe on both afternoons were welcomed. |
| AJ4Y | SA LP ALL | First contest effort with more than just a few hours of operating. Lots of great prefixes and band conditions not too bad. Now I have to move the tower work to the front burner. Will be back next year |
| AT0PTT | SO LP ALL | Operating time was very restricted, missed 20 & 40 mtrs. Very happy to give out this special prefix to all who called. Thanks to the Communications Ministry officials who obliged with a special call. |
| BD4DW | SO LP 15M | I enjoyed this contest with my personal station. More and more personal stations will join this contest from now on, I think. |
| BP0RIW | SO HP ALL | High band propagation have been good. I would like to operate with all band. But, unfortunately I could not prepare 3.5 MHz antenna. |
| CE6DFY | SO LP 15M | Very difficult to work barefoot with so may top guns, not only high power but "very wide". Despite all, a very pleasant contest. |
| DF4SA | SO HP 40M | Wanted to do an all band effort and started antenna building on Tue. The only antenna I really got working was the 40M yagi. I decided to go for single band but the WX on the weekend was so nice that I operated only a few hours and worked on the antennas for the other bands again so there would be less work before the next contests. I now have the 20M antenna running as well and hope 15 and 10 will follow as easily. |
| DJ6QT | SO HP 15M | Propagation better than last year but not good enough. The W/E path is not really working. Low activity from Africa. Also the 2nd 4 ele Quad at 40m height was down for repairing. Had my fun. |
| DL1TS | SO LP ALL | Conditions were excellent during the contest. Worked KH2 as DXCC #204. |
| DU3RCM | SO LP 15M | First time to join WPX contest. I enjoyed it and will surely try again. |
| EM4U | SO HP ALL | My best CQ WPX score as S. OP ever! Great opening to JA both days, bad CONDX (low activity) to the US. When I decided to go to 160M on the 2nd hour, I discoved I have no antenna! Later on I found somebody cut feedline of 160M atnenna, so no 160 this time. |
| G3SEM | SO HP ALL | Very successful, I hope, but no real openings to JA. |
| GM4ELV | SO QRP ALL | Getting through the QRM was very hard. Some stations were so wide a greyhound bus could have driven through. |
| GW8J | SO HP ALL | All in all a good trial for the second hand TH6 I installed the previous weekend in place of the Gem Quad. |
| HA/W0YR | MS | Great contest! Lots of fun! But..Where were all the USA big guns? How can grown men make expensive transceivers sound like they came from K-Mart? We live and work in Hungary |
| IH9/OL5Y | SO HP 15M | Not so nice CONDX like in week before contest. Beautiful Contest - I like WPX. |
| IK4QJM | SO LP ALL | Always a great competition, and this year thanks also to a better propagation, I improved my personal score of 294.55%!!! |
| IQ9A | MS | Again together after 2 years and again a very nice experience. Good result for our working conditions. |
| IZ3CDH | SO HP ALL | This is my first contest with this call. |
| J43PTR | MM | Many thanks to all operators for one of the most wonderful contest experiences! |
| JA5GPJ | SO QRP 10M | Cycle 23 is here! |
| JA6ZPR | MM | Our first trying to WPX SSB. Big Fun! We will be back in next year. |
| JA9SCB/1 | SO LP 15M | It was excited for me that I could contact more than 150 stations with my bare-foot radio system. |
| JE1SPY | SO LP 80M | Few USA stations did watch(QSX) JA phone band on 75m. But KO6N, W7RM, NE6N = Japanese operatorsd QSX on JA band! |
| JF2FIU | SO HP 20M | Condition was very good to world wide. It was interesting and exciting contest. |
| JH4UYB | SO HP ALL | I am satisfied with my best score in this contest. |
| JM4UQM | SA HP ALL | I decided to participate the contest the day before and traveled Tokyo to Okayama for 5 hours. The condition is much better than last year. I especially enjoy 15m opening. |
| JR3BVX | SO HP 40M | My 1st entry, only 10 minutes QRV! |
| JR4QZH | SA HP ALL | High band conditions very good. I was so excited huge pile up from Europe. |
| K0DAT | SO HP ALL | Had a lot of fun. Great to compete with the big guns. |
| K1DWQ | SO HP 15M | What a relief when I finally figured out Tango X-ray Kilo 8 Kilo's (TXK8K) callsign. Sure miss Pacific QSO's - aren't there any contesters out there? |
| K2CS | SO LP ALL | 80 degree temperature in March precluded more operating time. |
| K2FR | SO HP ALL | Moving, tower coming down. Last test for a while. Love WPX! |
| K4JYO | SO HP ALL | I'm convinced - any contest where 1 out of 2 contacts is a new mult, has to be the best! This was my first effort in WPX and I really enjoyed it. The bands were all in very good shape. Thanks to everyone for such a great contest. |
| K4MA | SA HP ALL | Only operated 14.5 hours due to other activities. Conditions at the beginning were very good. Best 75M conditions in quite some time. Ran 120+ Europeans on 75M in 2 hours. Conditions on Sunday seemed worse, but still not bad compared to more western US stations. Fair amount of exotic DX called in Sunday on 20 & 15. |
| K4SN | SO LP 15M | Did New Zealand sink in the ocean? Did'nt even hear ZL. |
| K5XR | SO HP 15M | Excellent conditions Fri eve and Sat. On Sunday the band never came alive into EU. Very poor stateside signals both days. |
| K6BZ | SO HP ALL | Nice to see better conditions than last year and such good participation |
| K6GT | SO HP ALL | I heard very few Europeans either day. Those heard were hard to work. Noise was high and propagation seemed poor. I've got a 40 meter beam now but el nino has kept me from getting out to put it on the tower. |
| K9JE | SO LP ALL | Surprised what my vertical could do. |
| KA2AEV | SO HP 15M | A BIG thank you to N2RM for permitting me to pilot his Superstation for the weekend! |
| KC5ZJA | SO LP 10M | Condx were great! |
| KC6ETY/2 | SA HP ALL | This is my best contest ever. The DX is great and the bands cooperated. |
| KC6X | SO HP ALL | Nice to see some condx on the bands this year. There was a shift in condx and Saturday and Sunday were quite different. Nice EU opening on Sunday but not on Saturday. Also nice to hear some stations on 10m. Best DX A61 on 1 call and 9G1YR calling me!. Managed to break 1M. See you in WPX CW. |
| KC7ZRH | SO LP ALL | Had fun. Band in fair shape. Way too many guys with amps running wide open. |
